The night time can be the time when you feel most alone and vulnerable. Perhaps you need attention during the night and are relying on a loved one, resulted in disrupted sleep for both of you.
If you struggle throughout the night having someone on hand throughout this time to help you can give great peace of mind for both you and your loved one.
For people with conditions such as dementia, sleep disturbances are common. It may be that they wake multiple times in the night and can become disorientated when they wake up. They may get dressed or attempt to leave the house. This is extremely stressful for the carer resulting sleep disruption that have a negative impact on their health and wellbeing. It becomes a viscous circle
We provide a waking night service which means the care worker is present throughout the night and is awake so they can respond to you quickly as needed. We do not offer a sleepover service, our carers are awake for as long as they are needed.
